The Arts on Fire Family Fun Day and Marketplace will be held on Saturday, June 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event features food, entertainment, iron pours, glass blowing and local, unique vendors. Admission is free. For more information, click here.
Stretch, breathe and hike at Explorer Yoga on the Trail on Saturday, June 10, at Blakely Borough Recreation Complex in Peckville. Registration opens at 8 a.m. with the program starting at 9 a.m.
Hilary Steinberg, owner and instructor of Jaya Yoga, in Clarks Summit, will lead a combined session of yoga and hiking along the trail. The program is open to people age 12 and older, and yogis of all skill levels are welcome to Explorer Yoga on the Trail!
Pre-registration is required by June 8. Yoga mats will be provided to all pre-registered participants. Click here to register.
Blakely Borough Recreational Complex is located at the intersection of Keystone Avenue and River Street in Peckville. Explorer Yoga participants should enter on the Keystone Avenue side of the park. For directions, click here.

On Saturday, December 2, Santa Claus will leave his sleigh at the North Pole and come to town early on a train! Six local communities will celebrate Christmas in a Small Town when Santa arrives aboard a special train provided by Steamtown National Historic Site. The Santa Train will arrive at local train stations at the following times:
Families are encouraged to assemble at the train station in each community to welcome Santa as the train pulls into town. At each stop, Santa and his friends will greet all of the children, hearing their lists for special Christmas wishes. After visiting with Santa, families can enjoy refreshments, live entertainment and special activities. The Santa Train and its crew will be available for photo opportunities at each station. All activities are free. Train rides for the public are not available at this event.
