What is the NEPA Conservation Alliance?
The Northeastern Pennsylvania Conservation Alliance is made up of representatives from regional environmental organizations and individuals who are committed to facilitating communication and the sharing of resources through networking in order to coordinate and advance conservation efforts in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Goals of the NEPA Conservation Alliance
The NEPA Conservation Alliance has identified four goals that it will pursue through a variety of projects, programs, and events. These goals align with the “Shaping a Sustainable Pennsylvania: DCNR's Blueprint for Action” of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources as well as support the objectives of the Lackawanna-Luzerne Bi-County Open Space, Greenways, and Outdoor Recreation Plan.
- Improve Stewardship and Management of Parks, Forests, and Greenspace
- Promote Land and Watershed Conservation
- Build and Maintain Sustainable and Attractive Communities
- Build Outdoor Connections for Citizens and Visitors

Meeting Schedule
The NEPA Conservation Alliance meets at the Electric City Trolley Museum in Scranton on the fourth Wednesday of odd‐numbered months. Meetings run from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
