Bring a bike, and a friend to Group Rides on the Trail

Lackawanna Heritage Valley National and State Heritage Area (LHV) will host a series of Group Rides on the Trail this season to promote the joy of bicycling in northeastern Pennsylvania.

Group rides will be held on Wednesdays, June 7, 14 and 21, weather permitting. Riders should meet at the 7th Avenue Trailhead in Scranton at 6 p.m. Led by LHV volunteer Ken Leibold, the group will ride along the CNJ Extension of the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail to Taylor and back, and then travel up to Olive Street and loop back to 7th Avenue. The ride is expected to last about an hour. There is no fee to participate, but riders should bring their own bicycles. Riders of all skill levels are welcome.
