Guided Bike Tour on the Trail
In celebration of National Bike Month, Lackawanna Heritage Valley National and State Heritage Area will host the first in a series of free Guided Bicycle Tours on the Trail on Friday, May 20, which is National Bike to Work Day.

Riders should meet at the 7th Avenue Trailhead in West Scranton at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 20, to enjoy a leisurely ride along the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail (weather permitting). Participants will ride south from 7th Avenue in Scranton along the CNJ Extension of the trail to Taylor. The ride will not exceed 7 miles and is expected to last about an hour.

A limited number of bicycles are available to anyone 18 and older through Lackawanna Heritage Valley’s bike share program. For guidelines on the bike share program, visit www.bikescranton.com.
