GREAT NEPA CLEANUP
Celebrate Earth Week with the Great NEPA Clean-Up!
Saturday, April 15th to Sunday, April 30th
More than 25 organizations in Northeastern Pennsylvania have events planned for the Great NEPA Clean-Up during Earth Week through the end of April. From April 15th to April 30th, events will include neighborhood clean-ups, work parties along the Lackawanna River, park beautification projects, tree plantings, and special “green” events.
These events are a great opportunity to celebrate our communities and protect our environment. The Great NEPA Clean-Up is seeking 500 volunteers to assist at the events across the region. Individuals, families, service groups, organizations, and businesses are encouraged to volunteer to help improve our communities.
